Whenever an administration wants to hide something they announce it over the weekend. The messiah did just that...and it worked. Little if anything at all is being said about this unprecedented action taken by the anointed one. An expert on everything, including autos, Obama slashed Chrysler's advertising budget by half. Are you paying attention? Obama. President of the USA, slashed a private corporation's advertising budget...are you listening?
Do you still think that socialism isn't at hand, that we no longer have a representative government...that we're ruled by a tyrant? Pay attention--your health care is next, then social security, then....

Unfortunately I can believe this, he is making a power grab for all the banks too. It is insane.

Oh I saw it, only b/c I'm in the industry and watching everything closely. But yeah, it is bad news for Chrysler to cut their budget on marketing like that. In the meantime everyone gets to think Chrysler=bankrupt=bad despite what Obama says. He also said it would be a 60-day BK when now it will be 2 years. The White House has clarified to say it's only the "good" Chrysler that will take 60 days to re-emerge with Fiat; all the rest (unfortunately for suppliers, dealers, creditors, etc) it will take 2 years or more in court to sort out the mess.
