Tigergate

Much ado about nothing. That's my take on Tiger Woods' mishap at his home. With all that's going on in our world--war, taxes, unemployment, and deficits--the media's obsessions with this one is asinine.

The one car accident occurred on private property, and he's assigned his lawyer to handle it. He's not obliged to speak with police...he's given them the appropriate license and registration information, so that should be the end of it. All of this speculation about affairs and domestic problems should be of no concern to any of us. Leave them alone. Isn't anything private anymore?

Waiting...

It was last summer that General McChyrstal requested more troops for Afghanistan. Recall that McChrystral was hand picked by BO. Yet there has yet to be a decision made on his request, unless by his very non-compliance we can surmise that BO does not want to reinforce our military.

Yes, reinforce. Picture yourself in the mountains of Afghanistan, on patrol or at a base camp, with an inadequate amount of soldiers to defeat the enemy, or for that matter, defend your position. In the meantime, your commander-in-chief busies himself with playing golf, traveling around the world bowing to leaders, throwing gala parties at the White House, making TV commercials, and playing basketball.

Now we hear that BO has compassionately taken a break (to have a smoke) and also to grace us with yet another "I love me" television special on Tuesday to finally answer McChrystal's request. Can't this guy ever just make a decision without being on TV?

While we wait, let's busy ourselves with reading the MSM's effusive praise for Michelle's fashion sense. Hopefully her latest gown has caused her to experience another moment to be proud of her country.
